This, The Wurzels third CD single, was released on December 16th 2001 on the Recognition record label, catalogue number CDREC22. It entered the UK charts on 22 December 2001 for 1 week at number 98.

At the time of the recording of this single The Wurzels consisted of Pete Budd, Tommy Banner, John Morgan and Dave Wintour.

The Tracks:

There were three tracks on this CD - Come On Santa! (Get Yer Act Together) Radio Edit, Come On Santa! (Get Yer Act Together) X-rated version and Drink Up Thy Zider (live version). This last track was a previously unreleased recording of this Adge Cutler classic. The first two tracks were credited to Wurzels/Allen/Willcox/Nicastro, with the sleeve design also by (Louie) Nicastro.

The Disc & Sleeve:

The standard CD release was as shown with yellow font on a red background - the typeface used, which appeared on the previous CD release 'Come On Santa', became the standard typeface used on Wurzel music releases and publicity material.

Collectors' Extras

Nice clear example of a signed copy of 'Come On Santa' autographed following a Christmas gig by all four members of the band playing that night, and thanks to Peter May for this example.
